Kati Thanda -aka Lake Eyre Australia’s inland sea
Lake Eyre is in the middle of Australia. Well and truly “Outback”. It rarely fills with water but when it does it is quite beautiful. Named after the first white person to see it, Edward John Eyre, the land has now been handed back to the original traditional owners, the Arabana people.
The Arabana people know it as Kati Thanda.
